We've had some initial contacts with the e-commerce segment, where we certainly are going to see ideas being executed. I read an article (in Swedish) about how spontaneous we are when we're shopping on the Internet. The discourse sprawls; where some mean that the (their) customers certainly know what they're looking for and mainly purchase those products, whereas others have customers who looks around a lot.
Personally I'm definitely open for impulse items, and I think it's all about the way the goods are presented. If I'm familiar with the products capabilities and I want it - I'll get it. There's been many times though, where I found an interesting item which I initially hadn't In mind and that has caught my interest, which haven't lead to any purchase because of lack of information. It could be visual or in text. But it really strikes me sometimes why some sites are making it hard for my to purchase a product.
I presume an impulse item can come out of many conditions (in the same ways as in a physical shop), where a visually enhanced presentation (display) is a start, but also providing useful information on the item is a need. Just to make it easy for me.
