Transparency has been a bit of a buzz word lately, at least up in the
northern shores. But how transparent can you be, or want to be? Especially from
a companies point of view. In some aspects you’re forced into a transparent
conversation. With the new basic conditions for users and consumers to express
good or bad things about companies; you need to step up and be a part of the
dialogue.
So far nothing new really.
The next step on the transparency scale could be the technical issues.
We do get problems and we want to share the solutions. That’s still do-able and
a generous way of sharing knowledge. Next phase on my own scale is the business
aspects. That’s when things start to get blurry.
My point is that the use of the transparency word tends to get quite
pragmatic (as with many other buzz words), but maybe it doesn’t need to be
anything else.
Not as long as we keep a good (social-medialized and mutually beneficial) relationship. After all; isn't all social relationships constructed in one way or another?!
